For quite a while now I’ve wanted to record cover versions of some of my favorite songs, but my skills aren’t quite up to the task so I tried stripping the vocals off of Hozier’s “Eat Your Young” and recorded my own atop it (along with some whistling because, honestly, I can’t match that high pitch). It’s just an experiment—I can’t vouch for the mixing or anything and my projection definitely suffers when I go this low, but I had fun and I wanted to share it!
