Betty Feves, Ayvee

I recently had the pleasure of contributing to an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Craft for ceramicist Betty Feves. In addition to the extensive physical collection, they had several audio recordings and a digital copy of one of Betty’s sketchbooks that they wanted to include as part of the experience, but were having trouble finding an app that could do what they needed. I offered to help, using a simplified version of forScore for the sketchbook and a new app for the audio that I’ve named Ayvee. It’s a multimedia kiosk for iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, and I’ve since released it on the App Store in case any other museums find themselves needing something similar.

I was proud to be able to contribute to what turned out to be an amazing exhibition for an incredible artist, and would encourage anyone in the area to go see it and to check out the beautiful book that goes along with it.
